B&B Den Boomgaard is quiet yet centrally located somewhere halfway between Ghent and Brussels (about 30 km). Moorsel itself is a sub-municipality of Aalst and is located in the Dender region.
Places of interest include the water castle that dates from 1520 and is still inhabited.
There is also the Saint Gudula chapel, which is a reminder of the Moorsel legend of Saint Gudula.

After about 15 km you will arrive in Buggenhoutbos.

Aalst and Dendermonde are a 15-minute drive away.
They have a rich cultural heritage but are also pleasant shopping cities where events take place regularly.
